Salary – up £45k plus Car Allowance

The Company

The Company are a successful main contractor that mainly operate in the Care, Public and Social Housing sector completing New Build, Refurbishments, Extensions. The company as a whole turnover approximately £10Million completing projects with values from £300k – £5m. They are a small company with around 30 employees and operate with a real family ethos.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join an exciting family run business.

You will be reporting into the Commercial Director and working on Multiple sector schemes. You will be responsible for:

  • Material Ordering.
  • Month end.
  • Compiling cost reports.
  • Client Valuations.
  • Final Accounts
  • Cost Control.
  • Reporting into the directors.
  • Handling multiple schemes at any one time.
  • Managing the Companies Commercial Turnover / Portfolio.
  • Monitor Performance.
  • Influence Design.

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • Degree / Qualified in Construction.
  • Have knowledge of JCT & NEC Contracts.
  • Analytical.
  • Task Orientated.
  • Commercially Astute.
  • Have at least 5 years experience working as a Qunatity Surveyor.
